Coffee

Coffee and Chat

An opportunity for ladies to relax with friends over a cup of coffee and cake.

Tuesdays from 10:30 - 12:00 noon

Coffee and chat for men.

Tuesdays 10.30 - 12.00 noon

Signing class

Learn British Sign Language from an expert in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

Tuesdays 6.30 - 8.30 pm

Rendezvous

A time of fellowship with a speaker on a subject of interest.

1st Wednesday of each month, 2.00 - 3.15 pm.

Music group

The music group helps lead us in worship at most services and there are sometimes other opportunities to use music in the life of CRBC. (Usually) Thursdays at 7.30 pm.

Sunshine Club

Senior citizens' lunch club - second Friday of each month with transport provided.

12.00 for 12.30 pm

Rambling group

Walks in the local countrytside, suitable for all. Usually 3 - 5 miles on the last Saturday of the month. (Meet at church at 10.00 am to share transport to start point)

House groups

We meet in homes on alternate weeks Weds & Thurs evenings, & a discussion group on alternate Mon afternoons at church. There is also a Bible study group with a creche available every Thurs morning term time.

Craft Club

Craft Club

Are you into painting, weaving, knitting, origami,...?  Whatever your craft why not bring it with you and enjoy tea and biscuits as you work? Third Saturday of each month - 2.30 - 4.30 pm.

Youth Activities

We hold a range of activities for young people aged 11 to 18. Please also look at our Youth pages or contact our Youth Worker Karen Turnbull for more details.

Girlie YPOD Groups

Small Nurture Groups for Years 10-11 and Year 12-13

Each group meets on alternate Tuesdays at 7.20pm and 8.15pm respectively 

SAS and FRED

Sunday morning groups looking at what the Bible says about being a young Christian in the 21st century. SAS is for school years 7-9 while FRED is school years 10-13.

Coffee

Northgate Coffee Bar

Tuesday Lunchtime Coffee and Cake for Northgate students age Years 11-13.

Sorted

Chill out, video games, craft, pool, table tennis and an opportunity to tackle real life issues from the Christian perspective. Every first and third Tuesday 7:00 - 9:00pm. (for school years 7-9)

Fusion

Life after Sorted? There is and it's called Fusion. We meet every second and fourth Tuesday at Karen and Rob's house, 7pm to 8.30pm. (school years 9 and over)

Friday Film Night

We have a film night once a month on a Friday, these rotate between certificate U, PG, 12 and a trip to the cinema with McDonalds

Grow Garden Club

Grow Garden club is for anyone of high school age. We meet Saturday mornings from 10am to 11.30.We also have some "micro plots" available for families.

Fair Trade Shop

Managed by our young people on the third Saturday of the month from 2.30pm to 4.30pm. Come for a free cup of tea and slice of cake and buy things from our stall. If you are in high school and are interested in helping ask the youth worker.

Craft Club

Although craft club is for anyone, and we have people of every age come along, young people are especially welcome! It runs 2.30pm to 4.30pm the third Saturday in each month.

Children's Activities

Rainbow Toddlers

Great way to meet other parents and carers while the children get to play with others their age.
(Free tea and biscuits too!)

Wednesdays 9:45 - 11:15 am.

Sparklers

Games, crafts, quizzes, stories, refreshments and fun for 4-8 year olds (School years R - 3).

Fridays 6:00 - 7:15 pm

Shooting Stars

Group for 7 - 11 year-olds to have fun with friends and get to know God better.
